Faculty Picture

Mrs. Jessica Waller, Principal

Mrs. Waller grew up in Chatham and graduated with honors from Chatham High School. She then attended and graduated from Radford University with a degree in Communication/Public Relations. In addition to earning a Master of Arts in Teaching in Special Education from Liberty University, she also added an endorsement in K-12 Administration and Supervision from Longwood University.

Mrs. Waller began her teaching career at Dan River Middle School and joined the family at Chatham Middle School in 2016. Prior to becoming our Cavalier Assistant Principal, Mrs. Waller served 5 years as a Special Education Coordinator for Pittsylvania County Schools. 

Mrs. Waller lives in Chatham with her husband Jacob, who is also a teacher and baseball coach at Dan River High School, and their two children, Oakley and Laken.  She enjoys running, working out, and spending time with family and friends. 
Mrs. Lankford  Mrs. Heather Lankford,  Assistant Principal

Mrs. Lankford grew up in Callands and graduated (as a Cavalier) from Fieldale Collinsville High School in Henry County. She attended Old Dominion University and graduated with a Bachelors of Interdisciplinary Studies in Elementary Education PK-6. She furthered her education at Radford University, where she earned her Masters of Science in Administration & Supervision PK-12. 

Mrs. Lankford began teaching in Henry County in 2011 and returned to Pittsylvania County as a teacher in 2017. She taught elementary education for 11 years and then one year of middle school (7th & 8th grade) science. During that year she added an endorsement for middle school science to her licensure. 

In 2023, Mrs. Lankford became the Assistant Principal at Twin Springs Elementary School and is now proudly A CAVALIER as the Assistant Principal at Chatham Middle School. 

Mrs. Lankford still lives in Callands on the farmland she grew up on with her husband Sid and her son Mason. She is a baseball momma and loves to travel and make memories with her family and friends.

Mrs. CMS began working at PCS in 1997 at Central Middle School. She brightens up the main office with her friendly personality and eagerness to help all of our Cavaliers!
 Faculty Picture Mrs. Beverley Williams, Bookkeeper

Mrs. Williams joined the CMS family in 2015 as bookkeeper. She works with the faculty, staff, and administration to maintain instructional supplies and equipment with her sunny demeanor.
